Trash, Rubbish, Garbage

• Trash is collected on a weekly basis.
• Place your cart(s) at the curb by 7:00 a.m. every week on your collection day.
• Bags outside of the trash cart will not be collected. 
• All LIDS must be closed to prevent litter.
• Use page 2 of the Trash and Recycling Calendar (PDF) to determine your street's collection day.
• All trash, rubbish and garbage must fit in the 96-gallon trash cart.
• All trash, rubbish and garbage should be bagged and inside the cart to prevent litter.

Holiday Delay

When an observed holiday falls on any trash collection day, there will be a 1-day-delay in collection for the rest of the week.

Need additional space for your trash?

• Click here to rent an additional trash cart (July 1 - June 30, annually) OR
• Please visit the Health Department at Town Hall (41 South Main Street, Main Floor) to rent an Additional Trash Cart, $130.00 per trash cart, per year. 
• Accepted payment: cash, check, money order only.
• No limit on the number of trash carts as long as they are permitted.
