Slide Deck for Town Council Presentation March 4, 2024
The Town of Randolph supports digital inclusion and all planning efforts related to digital inclusion.
The Town of Randolph, in partnership with VHB Consulting and the Mass Broadband Institute, is preparing a Digital Equity Plan. There will be 2 public meetings, a survey, and several public outreach events. Randolph will use data collected to apply for grants to support digital literacy. Randolph has also been granted a full-time fellow from Americorps who will work towards these goals for the Town.
What is Digital Equity? Digital equity is a condition in which all individuals and communities have the information technology capacity needed for full participation in our society, democracy, and economy. Digital equity is necessary for civic and cultural participation, employment, lifelong learning, and access to essential services.
