The Childcare Assistance Program provides subsidies to LMI (low- to moderate-income) families to allow parents/caregivers to work or seek employment.
To qualify, families must be fully income-qualified, meaning they must demonstrate their income using third-party verification (such as bank statements and paystubs).
The program serves children aged 0 to 13, up to age 16 if the child has a disability.
The maximum award per child is $7,000.
Once approved, families can choose to send their child to any licensed and insured childcare provider that has signed up to participate. The provider does not need to be located in a participating town.
Payment is made directly to the childcare provider as monthly reimbursement via the Town of Randolph.
