Randolph Department of Public Works (DPW) Superintendent, Neil McCole announced that the DPW will be performing "unidirectional flushing* of hydrants throughout the Town during the weeks of October 28, 2024 - November 22, 2024. Work will be performed between the hours of 8:00 p.m. and midnight. This work is necessary to maintain drinking water quality. The benefit is assurance that water pressure and quality in your home or business, as well as, essential fire protection, will be available at all times.
This schedule is preliminary and may vary due to unforeseen circumstances, but every effort will be made to adhere to this schedule. Please check the schedule below regularly for updates .
While testing is in progress, residents may notice a cold-water discoloration from the sinks and appliances. If this occurs, please open the cold water in the bathtub to flush. This situation is temporary and should not cause for alarm. We will make every effort to ensure that your normal water service is maintained at all times.
